LTM President Lou Tilley and crew interviewing key members of the CAFL in Wuhan for upcoming documentary.
Wuhan, China, November 5, 2015 – “If you were to compare this to a football drive, with the goal line being the launch of the CAFL pro league in China, where are you?” – LTM President Lou Tilley interviewing CAFL China CEO Gary Morris in his luxury suite at the Hyatt Hotel in Wuhan, China. “I’d honestly say we are first and goal!” says Morris who should know. He’s been banging the drum, banging on doors, and sometimes banging his head against the walls (The Great Wall?) for almost 5 years trying to shepherd arena-style pro football towards it’s launch here were football had been a virtual unknown until recently.
His story, and all stories that make up this remarkable project are being captured and documented by Lou Tilley Media right now in Wuhan, where the CAFL is holding its second Collegiate Arena football tournament over 5 days. “We have been partnered with Marty Judge (CAFL Founder) and AFL-Global from the start, of course, and have captured almost every step of the journey, but we are really turning up the heat now. I agree with Gary that we are close, and part of my trip this time over is to learn more and meet with potential media partners, a key part of our shared chances for success here.”
Leo Switucha, LTM’s Executive Producer, DP, and a long-time veteran of media business in Asia is on the trip as well as Antonio Panetta, a veteran NFL Films videographer, and Teo Kaye a freelance writer for the NY Times and others, and video producer, both of whom now live with their families in China. Look for their reports at CAFLfootball.com, Tilley.TV, and on Facebook at Lou Tilley Media.
