BEIJING, CHINA — Ganlan Media International (GMI) held a news conference today to officially announce the first ever AFL China All-Star Game to be held at Capital Indoor Stadium on Sun, Nov 10, 2013.

“For most of the players, referees and coaches, this is their first time to China,” says GMI CEO Gary Morris, “and they are excited about the coming show here and couldn’t wait to bring this exciting sport into China.”

The conference, attended by many of China’s major news outlets, marks the continued efforts of bringing American professional arena football into China in 2014 and capturing the interest of China’s youth.

“I witnessed the introduction of golf, synchronized swimming and bowling in China for the past 20 years, and this time it’s arena football’s turn, and I hope we can make it popular too,” exclaimed Wu Hua, chairman of GMI.
