Climbing The Wall Premieres Jan 6 & 12

The first ever pro football game on mainland China was staged by AFL China a month ago. Now, you can see it, as well as the remarkable back story of the Philadelphia businessman who is making his dream a reality, on Comcast SportsNet this coming Sunday evening, January 12 at 7:00pm.

“Climbing the Wall” presents the entire All-Star clash featuring the stars of the US AFL, as it happened in Beijing at the Capital Sports Stadium. Nick Davila of the Arizona Rattlers leads the West squad, facing off against Dan Raudabaugh and the East. Regarded as the two best quarterbacks in the AFL, they renew a special rivalry that saw them face off in the last two Arena Bowl AFL Championship games.

The show, hosted by Lou Tilley, features an all-star roster of football stars and broadcasters including Brian Baldinger, Ricky Watters, Randy Miller, Tom Goodhines and Cortney Bailey, who weave the parallel story of AFL China and Ganlan Media International efforts to kickoff China’s first pro football league in the year ahead.

Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia will also air the program less than a week later on January 12 at 7pm in the Delaware Valley. Both Comcast networks will replay the program to fit their schedules.

To date, three other major regional sports networks have signed on to air the program around the US. Check back here as those dates are locked in.

For our fans that live in the New Orleans area, Cox Cable Southeast will be re-airing the broadcast on Wednesday January 22nd at 12pm Central time.
